These terms are between you and Toayen, who make Shotmaker. By using Shotmaker you agree to them and to Apple's Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/), which governs your licence to use the app. Where the two differ on the licence itself, Apple's agreement applies.
Shotmaker is a golf game for iPhone and iPad. Larchmere and Dunmarra Links are free to play for ever. Every other course is in the Shotmaker Club, or can be bought on its own and kept.
The Shotmaker Club is an auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly or yearly through your Apple Account. While it is active it opens every course beyond the free two, and each new course added to the Club.
A course bought on its own is yours to play for as long as Shotmaker is available on your Apple Account, on any iPhone or iPad signed in to it. Purchases are not shared through Family Sharing. Use Restore purchases on the Club page if a new phone does not show it.
A Shotmaker handicap is the game's own measure of how well you play Shotmaker. It is not an official golf handicap and cannot be used as one. Every handicap round is played in the same fixed conditions for every player, and nothing bought in the game changes how the ball flies.
Your rounds are recorded on your phone with every swing, so that a round can be played again exactly and checked. Altering the app or its files to change a round or a handicap is not allowed.
Matches with friends, the weekly tournament, the daily challenge, the world ranking and the leaderboards need a Game Center account, which is Apple's and under Apple's terms. Everything else in Shotmaker plays without one. Our privacy policy says what goes to our server and how to delete it.
We may update Shotmaker: add courses and features, change how it looks, and fix how it plays. A course you have bought or that the Club includes will not be taken away from you because of an update, unless the law or a third party's rights require it, in which case we will tell you and offer a fair remedy.
We make Shotmaker with care, but provide it as it is. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer. Otherwise we are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for loss of data on your phone; your rounds are included in your phone's own backups, and in Shotmaker's own copy in your iCloud, if you use them.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom or in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in its courts.
